Overvekt hos barn

Det finnes flere definisjoner av overvekt hos barn, men norske retningslinjer angir nå hvilke inndelinger som skal brukes hos norske barn.

Før var overvekt hos barn et sjeldent fenomen. Nå er overvekt hos barn et av de mest utbredte problemene i helsevesenet i "velutviklede" land.
