Kikhoste

Kikhoste regnes som en av de mest smittsomme barnesykdommene. Vaksine mot kikhoste inngår i barnevaksinasjonsprogrammet fra 3 måneders alder. Særlig forekomsten blant ungdom og voksne har økt siden 2000-tallet.

Barn kan få kikhoste selv om de er vaksinert, men vil da få et mildere forløp.
