Charcots fot

Charcots fot er en sjelden senkomplikasjon til diabetes type 1 og type 2. Unormale brudd og forskyvninger i leddene er karakteristisk for tilstanden.

Charcots fot finnes i akutt og kronisk tilstand. Ved akutt Charcots fot oppstår symptomer i forbindelse med aktiviteter som belaster foten ekstra, for eksempel uvant lange gåturer. Illustrasjonsfoto: Colourbox.
