Kreftspredning til hjernen, hjernemetastaser

Hjernemetastaser er kreftspredning til hjernen. Oftest skjer slik spredning fra lungekreft, brystkreft, føflekkskreft, nyrekreft og tykktarms-/endetarmskreft.

Hjernemetastaser fører til økt trykk i hjernen. Dette gir symptomer som hodepine, kvalme, oppkast, tretthet og slapphet.
