Diagnostikk av hjernesvulster

Ved hjernesvulst stilles diagnosen ved hjelp av sykehistorie, legeundersøkelse og prøver, men ofte er bildeundersøkelser som MR og noen ganger PET avgjørende.

Hvert år får omtrent 1000 mennesker i Norge diagnosen hjernesvulst.
